JOB SUMMERY

Basic Functions

Under the general guidance of the Chief Executive Officer plans, organizes, directs and controls all functions related to strategic and change management; follows up the achievement of strategic objectives and identified changes; and closely collaborate with cross functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and manage changes.

Major duties and responsibilities

Plans, organizes, directs and controls the activities of the unit;
Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive growth and profitability;
Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic projects and initiatives;
Collaborate with key stakeholders to formulate and communicate the company’s vision, mission, values, strategic goals and objectives;
Drive Company change by developing and monitoring implementation of change management strategies and programs;
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and make recommendations for adjustments as needed;
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and inform strategic decision-making;
Prepare and submit periodical reports.
Competencies

Intensive knowledge of strategy formulation, planning, evaluation, monitoring,;
Comprehensive knowledge of change management tools, principles and concepts;
Ability to coordinate and direct a variety of activities;
Ability to create effective work teams;
Commendable organization and time management skill

JOB REQUIREMENT

Education: BA Degree in Management or Banking and Insurance or Economics or in related fields
Experience: 9 years relevant experience, of which 4 years in managerial position.
Job grade: XII
Place of work: Addis Ababa, Head Office
